In continuation of our letter of the 14th February last

I have the honour to report that the following two men have

been selected by Mr May and engaged by us for service in the

Police Force of Hong Kong;-

(1)

Martin Faherty

(2) Patrick O'Sullivan

These men have signed the usual agreement, a copy of

which was enclosed in our letter of the 3rd January last,

and have been provided with passages to Hong Kong in the

S.S."Monmouthshire" sailing from London about the 1st

proximo.
